Peggy received a B.A. in finance from Mundelein College and an M.B.A. from Loyola University. Professional credentials and designations include passing the Certified Public Accounting exam in 1981, Certified Financial Planner® certificant in 1985, Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA) in 2003, and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) in 2007.
Peggy is active in many professional associations including the National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP) and Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). She is on the National Board of the Association of Divorce Financial Planners (ADFP). Peggy is listed on the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts (IDFA).
Peggy has appeared in an expert capacity on many television and radio shows and has been quoted in the Chicago Tribune, Mutual Funds Magazine, Financial Planning Magazine, Divorce Magazine and Family Lawyer Magazine. One of her articles was picked up by The Huffington Post online. Among the major accomplishments in her career, she taught in the Certified Financial Planner® program for 14 years.
Numerous speaking engagements to both professionals and consumers fill Peggy's calendar every year. Topics include the promotion of divorce financial planning to the public and discussion of technical matters to her colleagues. Recent talks and webinars cover divorce dissipation issues, anatomy of a tax return and family fraud detection and prevention.
